The 2024 Parco Agrisolare Call Offers a Significant Opportunity for Agricultural Enterprises in Southern Italy
This incentive, which has a fund of 250 million euros, was created to support companies operating in primary agricultural production in the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia, and Sicily. The project is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and aims to encourage the installation of photovoltaic systems on the roofs of agricultural buildings.
Applications for the PNRR "Parco Agrisolare" call can be submitted from 12:00 PM on September 16 until 12:00 PM on October 14, 2024. The new call, with a budget of 250 million euros, requires the submission of applications through the GSE web portal, following the same procedure as in previous calls.
Funding will be provided for projects in the primary agricultural production sector, as specified in Annex A, Table 1 of the Decree. These interventions are exclusively reserved for agricultural companies active in primary production located in the regions of Southern Italy.
If these resources are not fully utilized, they will be allocated to finance projects in other Italian regions, as provided for in Table 1A of the Notice of July 21, 2023, and in accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 3-Bis of Ministerial Decree No. 0176845 of April 17, 2024.

The call offers a maximum contribution of 2,330,000 euros per beneficiary, with specific limits depending on the type of intervention. It is essential to meet the deadlines and ensure that the work is completed by June 30, 2026, to benefit from the incentives provided.

Eligible projects include the installation of photovoltaic panels up to 1,000 kWp per system. Expenses for complementary interventions, storage systems, and charging devices are also allowed. It is important to note that projects that have already received previous contributions must explicitly renounce the incentives obtained to participate in the new call.

Additionally, the construction work for the photovoltaic system must not have already begun.
The operational regulations specify that it is possible to receive multiple incentives for the same activity, provided that the aids cover different eligible expenses for the same initiative or project, avoiding the accumulation of incentives for the same expenses.
Once the application window is closed, the GSE will begin the evaluation phase and will also continue processing the second call. The goal is to complete the allocation of the entire PNRR financial endowment, amounting to 2.35 billion euros, by the end of 2024.
